Project Based Voucher
The Project Based Voucher (PBV) Program is a federally funded and income based program designed to provide decent and safe housing in the private market to qualified very low and extremely low income families, elderly and persons with disabilities. The PBV program is funded with a portion of the appropriated funding (budget authority) available under RHHA's tenant-based voucher annual contributions contract with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). There is no special or additional funding for project-based vouchers.
Unlike the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program, the Project Based Voucher (PBV) program's assistance is attached to the structure or a specific unit.
Units include:
- Great Falls Apartments
- Courtyard at Highland Park
- 84 PBV (Project Based Vouchers) are available to individuals aged 62 and older at Courtyard at Highland Park. Landmark Property Management Company's website provides more information on these units.
