HCV Waitlist Open May 3rd, 2021
The Rock Hill Housing Authority announces the opening of the Housing Choice Voucher Wait List for the Mainstream Voucher Program beginning Monday, May 3, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. until further notice.
Pre-Applications can only be completed electronically (online) via the internet on our website at www.rhha.org. Additional information on program eligibility and income eligibility can also be found on our website.
The Mainstream Voucher Program only provides assistance to individuals and families who have a non-elderly disabled person that will live in the household.
A "nonelderly person" is an individual who is 18 years of age or older or less than 62 years of age at the effective date of the initial Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) Contract AND that person must have a disability.
A "disabled person" must meet the definition of disabled as defined in 42 U.S.C. 423 (d) or as defined for determining eligibility in the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program.
Applicants must also meet all eligibility requirements to be admitted to the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
Persons who apply and are determined to not be eligible for the Mainstream Voucher Program will not be added to the wait list.
