Danita Cousart Joins Rock Hill Housing Staff

ROCK HILL, SC --- Danita Cousart recently joined the staff of Rock Hill Housing serving as an Asset Manager. In this role, Ms. Cousart will oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned properties, including customer relations, eligibility, re-certifications, lease compliance, and office management. Ms. Cousart will manage the communities of Eastside Homes, South Workman Street, North Confederate Avenue & Pendleton Street apartments.

Cousart is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, and relocated to Rock Hill, South Carolina, in 2014. Cousart is a graduate of Northwestern High School and holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Rutledge College.

With over 10 years of experience, Cousart brings her property management, realty, and mortgage experience to the agency. Prior to joining Rock Hill Housing, Cousart served as a Leasing Professional for the Sterling Group/Enclave at Bailes Ridge in Indian Land, South Carolina. While in this role she was responsible for the leasing and management of luxury apartments while delivering an outstanding customer experience. Cousart held the position of Broker Assistant with Lanier Realty for over nine years. In this role, Cousart was responsible for pre-qualifying potential buyers in accordance with Conventional, FHA, VA, and all Government standards ensuring completion of loan applications, inspections, appraisals, and property insurance appointments were completed.

Cousart has five children Shakeyra, Gregory, David, Louie, and Avery. During her free time, Cousart enjoys reading, playing softball, and spending time with her children.
