Shayna Anthony Joins Rock Hill Housing Staff
ROCK HILL, SC --- Shayna Anthony recently joined the staff of Rock Hill Housing, serving as a Jobs Plus Community Coach. In this role, Anthony is a liaison between the residents, Jobs Plus team, PHA and local service providers. Shayna interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals including supervisor(s), co-workers, other local, state, and federal officials, contractors, and outside agencies. In her position as a Jobs Plus Community Coach, Shayna will promote self-sufficiency efforts and/or encourage residents to build informal support networks with other residents, family, and friends. Shayna will also be responsible for promoting the utilization of the Jobs Plus Program and its partnership with SC Works as a job search resource. In addition, Shayna provides referrals to Jobs Plus Career Coaches of residents who may need services such as: credit counseling, transportation assistance, childcare assistance, money management, homeownership counseling, and more.
Originally from Lancaster, South Carolina, Anthony relocated to Rock Hill area in 2016. Anthony attended Gaston College where she obtained a certification in computer technology.
Prior to Joining Rock Hill Housing, Anthony served in positions with local employers some of which include: Shutterfly, FEDEX, and an automotive dealership. Shayna has developed outstanding customer service and relationship building skills as a result of her experience in a variety of positions which include: Sales Consultant, Procurement Parts Clerk, a Production Process Technician, a Machine Operator/Assembler, and a Package Handler. Shayna brings valuable work experience and community awareness to Rock Hill Housing.
Anthony has four children, D'Andrez, Royal, Nolan, and Kashton. During her free time Anthony enjoys spending time with family, catering events, water/outdoor activities, and exercising.

Since 1965, Rock Hill Housing has provided housing assistance for families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities in the cities of Rock Hill and Great Falls. Rock Hill Housing has 369 public housing units and manages 589 Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV), previously Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers, for area landlords.
